My mind works in weird ways. I finally got the courage to log on to my Nanowrimo account today. I remembered my username and password on the first try, miracle. Then I looked up the novel I had been working on last year (15,000 words). Then I realized I didn't remember half the characters or the storyline, so I dug up my writing binder, the place all my ideas go to die and collect dust. I opened it up and instead of looking for my outlines I started reading my old poems. They used to be so good! I wish I could write the same way, or, more specifically, with the same voice. I might be moved to post some of my poems here one day. Not sure yet. Must write now.
